QUESTION:
21 years old. Virgin.
I have a friend thats frustrated... so frustrated its making her cry and very upset. For awhile now, during her time of the month, she has been trying to insert a tampon but something is NOT allowing her to do so. She can't figure it out and she is getting sick and tired of using the pads. I'm not quite sure what to tell her other than ask a doctor, but she is shy and is scared. She's never had a pap.I was hoping I could get a little insight from you, to possibly help her out.

ANSWER:
She needs to see a doctor. She cant be shy about stuff like that. The doctor could tell her what's going on. Never ignore any bad signs with your vagina. Even if you think its small or nothing. You want the clarification from a doctor that its nothing. She should also try a different angel. Lying down. Foot propped up onto the toilet. Also putting some Vaseline over the cardboard area of the tampon to insert might help some too.

Dear Snippie #35 (Is watching porn cheating?)

Question:
Dear Snippie,
I found out that my husband looks at porn when I'm not around.  This really makes me feel insecure because I can never compete with the girls he's looking at.  Is this considered cheating?  How should I handle it without embarrassing him or me?"

Answer:
I understand how you feel. I once had a boyfriend do this to me too. I don't mind porn but I do mind when you hide it and pretend you weren't looking at it when you were. I think as long as the guy is honest about looking at it it's fine. There's no reason to be insecure about your man watching porn. He's with you and loves you. I don't believe this is cheating at all. I think talking to him about it in a nice way and just letting him know how you feel is the way to go. Let him know that you feel insecure. Maybe he can help you feel better by reassuring you . But communication is the key.

I thought it would be fun to start posting some of my past entries of popular Dear Snippie entries. So here is the first post of the series for The Best of Dear Snippie.

• Dear Snippie #6 (The Devil's Handshake)

Question:
During my college days I caught too many people in the act. I always thought God was punishing me for some reason by having me catch so many guys and girls doing the devil's handshake and I have always wanted to hear how others would have handled it. How should you react if you catch someone in the act of masturbation? Or how would you react if you got caught?

Answer:
First of all, masturbation is not a bad thing. It helps us get in touch with our bodies and connect with ourselves. Personally, I wish I had more time for it. This question is still tricky for me because it has a religious background. I am not a religious person so I don't have the whole "guilt" thing gnawing at me. So with that being said, Catching someone or being caught is yes embarrassing but not a bad thing.
