Dear Snippie (What kind of lube should I be using? )

I have a question about lube. I am usually very dry, so my boyfriend and I always have to use lube. We have been using the regular KY stuff for a while now, and we hate it. It always makes your hands feel and smell gross afterward. So, we decided to try some different kinds. We bought a variety pack of lubes made by Durex called “Play Assorted Temptations”. One of the lubricants in that pack was called “Play Soothing”. It was really smooth, and contained aloe vera which is always good for your skin and doesn’t leave it feeling gross afterward. We really loved this one, but after doing some research found out that it only existed in that variety pack. My question is, can you recommend something similar?ANSWER:
The only kind of lube I use is organic. I try not to use any chemicals “down there”.They always left me feeling really gross. Sometimes I would even get infections. So I looked for something organic. Its called Good Clean Love. They have lots of different products.My favorite is the Lavendar Rose. You can get a 4oz tube for $13. Hope this helps.

wow, i never thought about organic lube (i mean about whether or not it existed, haha)…but it makes total sense. maybe i’ll have to try it out.
we’re currently using the ky yours and mine lube. it’s great and we really like it but i would NOT recommend it to anyone who has any sort of unfavorable reaction to menthol (that stuff can really burn if you put it on the wrong places!!). that aside, though, we’ve found it to be pretty fun.

I have the same problem and really loved that Durex soothing lube and wished I could get it without buying the entire pack! We’re using Astroglide right now and it’s the only other lube I can use that doesn’t sting. I’m hoping to switch to something all natural or organic though, so I might just give that Good Clean Love stuff you mentioned a try.

I have my own issue that I would like to comment about on here. I’m usually the opposite of dry with my boyfriend (lol) and i get aroused rather quickly. But today…I was really dry and nothing could work… It made my boyfriend think that he was doing something wrong, even though I insisted that he wasn’t. I’m kind of confused about this, too. This is the first time that this has happened, and I’m not sure why. Is there something wrong with me?
