I said squirrel because that would be the only animal who can actually make it at the top of the tree. I didn’t realize it said banana coconut tree. Who cares, squirrel is the smart choice.

To be fair, the mere fact that it is a coconut tree does not mean that there are not banana’s in it. Perhaps Ebenezer Scrooge had come along the day before and placed some banana’s in the tree…

At first I mentally compared the quickness of the squirrel with the natural advantage of the giraffe’s neck. For maybe 30 seconds I considered which one could get the banana from the coconut tree the quickest.

I was thinking to myself: “But lions don’t eat bananas and he would much rather kill the giraffe. Squirrels eat nuts, so that leaves the chimp, who is obviously a banana eater and the most skilled climber.”

I saw it right away and I was confused. Why is a banana on a coconut tree? Since I thought you weren’t tricking anybody, I’d just pictured someone (most likely you) climbed up all the way up to to the top and placed a banana there. After safely hiding yourself, you then clicked a button which signaled the cages (what cages?!?!) the animals were in to open and there goes the animals.) So I picked the giraffe. The lion can’t climb. It would take a while for the chimpanzee to get there, I think, so maybe the squirrel will get the banana before the chimp…but can it pick up a banana? The squirrel would just drop it! So yeah, giraffe all the way…But if they decided to battle each other out, the lion might hurt the giraffe and it wouldn’t be able to get the banana after all. Hmm…while that’s happening, the chimp could just punch the squirrel and then go and be merry with the banana. If, however, the squirrel bit the chimp before the chimp planned an attack, then the squirrel would get to the banana first but it won’t be able to pick it up again!
I’m not really sure if squirrels can’t pick up bananas but oh well.
Yeah, I have a lot of time and I’m wasting all of it…I can’t succumb and retire!

I think the shading immediately separates the important introduction (BANANA TREE) from the content of the question. That’s so tricky! I caught it because the odd gray vs white areas but I know a lot of people who wouldn’t have!
